What type of paint do you use?
We use only professional quality FDA compliant cosmetic makeup by SNAZAROO (the only face paint which carries a child toy safety rating). SNAZAROO makeup is hypo-allergenic and safe for use on skin and hair. Designs can be removed easily with soap and water or a quality baby wipe.
What about spreading germs?
We will not paint the face of anyone who appears to be sick, has an open cut or sore on their face, a runny nose/eyes or obvious illness. We are a happy to paint a hand, arm, or leg instead. Our brushes and sponges are cleaned in hot water and our work area is kept neat and sanitary.
What type of glitter do you use - is it safe?
We use non-metallic, .008 size hex-cut cosmetic grade polyester glitter in our face painting and glitter tattoo designs. This is NOT the same type of glitter that can be purchased at a craft store. It is a professional quality glitter that is specifically made for makeup application. Regular craft store glitter should never be used on the face or near the eyes as it can cause serious injury.
How much do you charge?
Rates are quoted according to date, time and travel. We do offer discounts for non-profit organizations, fundraisers, church and school events.

Do you charge the same price for face painting, balloon twisting and temporary tattoos?
Yes. You are welcome to choose a different service for each hour at your
event (balloons are always twisted during the last hour).
Do you charge for setup or travel time?
There is no charge for setup or travel time within 20 miles of
my location. There is a $10 gas charge for every 10 miles out
of the normal service area.
